Timeline

1887 First Federal Savings and Loan Association first organized under the name Bucyrus Loan and Building Association. The first incorporation was made by J. B. Morgan, M. Ernrich, Horace M. Deal, Ed C. Roehr and G. C. Gormley for the purpose of raising depositors for use in buying lots, building and repairing houses and other purposes. J. B. Morgan President till 1908.
1908 W. F. Barth was president till 1918.
1918 Edwin George Beal President till 1935.
1936 E.L. Hopley President till 1949.
1937 The name Bucyrus Loan & Building Co. was changed to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Bucyrus.  The managing officer at this time was S.E. Auck.
1950 C.W. Warnock President till 1972.
1953 Our current location at 119 South Sandusky Avenue was completely remodeled. The managing officer at this time was D.K. Auck.
1969 John Kennedy President & CEO till 2003.
1973

D.K. Auck President till 1978.

1977 John Kennedy served as the managing officer. The first branch office in Bucyrus was established at the intersection South Sandusky Avenue and Marion Road.
1979 Edward Norton President.
1980 The second branch office was established outside of Bucyrus in the community of New Washington, Ohio.
1980 Harold Romanoff appointed Chairman till 1990.
1990 Dale Hoyles Chairman till 2001.
1995 Community Investors Bancorp, Inc. (CIBN) was established as the holding company and serves as the parent company to First Federal Savings & Loan Association.
2001 To better reflect the full array of services we now offered to our customers the bank updated their name to First Federal Community Bank of Bucyrus.
2003 The retirement of John Kennedy led to the promotion of Phillip Gerber as the President and CEO of First Federal, a position he held until retiring at year end 2016.
2003 The third branch was established, located at the intersection of Stetzer Road and East Mansfield Street in Bucyrus.
2007  Marysville’s First Federal Community Bank was established.
2009 The Secondary Market lending operation was established. This included loan production offices in Powell, Findlay, Bellefontaine and Upper Arlington, Ohio.
2011 Philip E. Harris Chairman till 2020.
2017 The retirement of Phillip Gerber led to the promotion of Bradley P. Murtiff as the President and CEO of First Federal.
2019 Fully remodeled the Main Office.
2019 The Crestline Office was established.
2020 Fully remodeled our South Branch location.
2020 Dedication of the Community Room - the creation of a community room available for members of the public to use as a meeting space. This space now will forever be known as the John Kennedy Community Room.
2020 Phil Harris retires as long-time Chairman and Dawn Ratliff Appointed for Board Chair.
2021 The Bucyrus Main Office remodeled an additional building to accommodate further growth.
2022 Jeffrey K. Urban appointed President & Chief Executive Officer (Interim)
2023 Steven R. Crall promoted to President & CEO.
